Where it began
You return, you start to imagine a life there, and one day you find yourself looking at homes for sale. Holiplanet was born from this simple observation:
in the world's most compelling destinations, the journey of a traveller and the journey of a homeowner are often the same journey, only at different moments.
Our mission is to help people discover destinations with real tourism potential the way locals live them, and to accompany them, if they choose, all the way from their first visit to owning a home there. We do it with independent city guides, trusted local partners and a real estate network that knows each place from the inside.
We want to become the international reference for destinations that are worth more than a visit: a single place where travellers plan their stay, local businesses meet their future guests, and those who fall in love with a city find the right home and the right partners to invest in it.

We do not cover every destination. We select cities and regions with strong and lasting tourism appeal, places where people want to come back, stay longer and often invest. Every new guide is a long-term commitment to that destination, its businesses and its property market.
Who we work with
The printed Como City Guide
Our city guides are written to be used, not just read. They tell you what is worth seeing and why, where to sleep and where to eat, how to move around and how to plan your days, with every practical detail checked against official sources. Each guide comes with curated directories of the best hotels, restaurants and real estate agencies in town, and with the Holiplanet Journal's itineraries and local stories. When you are ready to stay, you can book one of our holiday homes, and in selected cities you can take the guide with you in print.
Travellers choose where to stay, eat and shop long before they arrive. Holiplanet puts your business in front of them at that exact moment, inside the guides and directories they use to plan their trip, online and in the printed editions distributed across the city. Our editorial picks remain independent and are never paid for, which is why travellers trust them and why being part of a Holiplanet guide carries real weight.
Many travellers who fall in love with a destination start looking for a home there. Holiplanet's marketplace lets agencies publish their listings where that interest is born, next to the guides of the same cities, and turn visitors into qualified contacts. By joining our partner network, agencies gain access to qualified leads from international buyers and tenants and work alongside the Holiplanet Real Estate Network and other partner agencies on shared opportunities.
